G7 agriculture ministers have criticized India’s decision to ban wheat exports, according to the Welt.

Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir (Greens) criticized the ban on wheat exports from India. “All together, especially the major exporting countries, we also have a responsibility to the rest of the world,” Ozdemir said in Stuttgart on Saturday, following a meeting with his G7 counterparts in the industrialized world. “I see this very critically,” he said, referring to the New Delhi ruling.
