The Xiaomi 12S Ultra camera phone made a splash even during the presentation thanks to its monstrous camera, but many were also struck by the large size of the smartphone: with a 6.73-inch display, dimensions of 163.2 × 75 × 9.1 mm and a weight of 225 grams. Apparently, among those who do not like the dimensions of the novelty, there was also Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun.
In his Weibo account (Chinese equivalent of Twitter), he indicated that he uses Xiaomi 12S Ultra for photography, but for everyday use he prefers a smaller flagship, such as Xiaomi 12S.
This open statement by Lei Jun sounds strange, because in addition to the camera and dimensions, the base Xiaomi 12S also differs in the display – it is worse. Apparently, the 12S Ultra seems so uncomfortable to the head of the company that he turned a blind eye to all the omissions for the sake of a more compact size and less weight. Why couldn’t the Ultra model be made more ergonomic?
