“It was ugly, they shouted and cursed. “They were really annoying,” passenger Malik Banks told WSOC-TV.
American Airlines Flight 893 was scheduled to take off on Monday morning, but a mechanical problem forced passengers to change planes. That’s when the students started chanting.
“It was not all of them, I would say that 75-80% of them were awful children, constantly throwing smarts”, the flight passenger continued in her TV interview.
American Airlines had no choice but to cancel the flight, scheduling it for the next day.
“All they had to do was follow the rules, wear it mask “Sit still,” said another angry passenger, “and they could not do that either,” concludes Christina Randolph.
The adult passengers were compensated with free accommodation at the hotel, but the children could not be left alone in the rooms, so they spent an awkward night at the airport.
“For some, the holidays were ruined, they would only go for two nights,” said Stephanie Krzywanski.
