The Nasdaq 100 is trading lower, dragged down by Moderna, CDW Corp and GlobalFoundries

The Nasdaq 100 marked a high for the day at 20,115, finding aggressive sellers that took the technology index to lows not seen since September 20. At the time of writing, the Nasdaq 100 is trading at 19,731, losing 1.65% daily.

Moderna, CDW Corp and GlobalFoundries drag the Nasdaq 100 into negative territory

The biotechnology specialist company, Moderna, slides 3.83%, reaching three-day lows of $63.90. In the same vein, CDW Corp lost 4.01%, reaching the lows of September 12 at $215.22.

On the other hand, GlobalFoundries plummets 4.00%, visiting the lows of September 16 at $38.69.

Investors will be watching Nike’s earnings report at the close of the market. Analysts project revenue of $11.65 billion and earnings per share of $0.5214.

Technical levels on the Nasdaq 100

The Nasdaq 100 reacted lower at short-term resistance, given by the September 26 high at 20,313. The closest support is seen at the September 16 pivot point located at 19,291, in confluence with the 50% Fibonacci retracement. The next key support is at 18,394, the low of September 6.
