The new president of EENE is Christian Chatziminas

The elections of the Hellenic Association of Entrepreneurs for the election of the new Board of Directors took place in Varkiza, where the majority voted. The position of President is taken over by the former First Vice President, Mr. Christian Chatziminas, replacing after ten years Dr. Vassilis Apostolopoulos. Of the thirteen members of the Board, eleven were re-elected, with new additions, Mr. Costas Gerardos, CEO of Plaisio Computer, and Mrs. Sofia Kounenaki-Efraimoglou, Vice President of the Foundation for the Hellenic World.

The keynote speaker of the event was the Minister of Labor & Social Affairs, Mr. Kostis Hatzidakis.

“On behalf of the new Board of Directors, we warmly thank Vassilis Apostolopoulos for his valuable contribution, for more than 10 consecutive years, in the creation of an active and dynamic Union of Greek Entrepreneurs, which during his days strengthened its international profile. “Through its substantial contribution and initiatives, the Union has been able to highlight modern business challenges and align with the country’s social and economic needs,” said the new President, Mr. Christian Hatziminas, who has served the Union for more than thirty years. “I warmly thank the members for their trust and support. Together, we will strive to reorganize our primary sector and industry, advance the necessary reforms and enhance the digital transformation of the economy and society to help Greece grow. “We dream of an autonomous and independent country that will invest in its people.”
