The Zaporozhye Automobile Plant, which recently began assembling AvtoVAZ and Renault cars, is preparing to start production of a crossover called Odessa. This is reported by the profile edition car.ru.
Do not expect that ZAZ Odessa will become the original model of the Zaporozhye Automobile Plant, which simply does not have the means for such tasks. Instead, it was decided to adapt the already existing crossover of the Chinese company FAW.

ZAZ Odessa will be based on FAW Besturn T77, which has a modern design, a large radiator grille, full LED lighting, and wheels with a diameter of 17 to 19 inches. Inside will be an electronic dashboard and a large-screen infotainment system with support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The car will offer all-round cameras, a panoramic roof and dual-zone climate control.
The car will be powered by the popular in China 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 160 hp, which will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed “robot”.

The price of the car should start at about 1.5 million rubles, while ZAZ Odessa may start rolling off the assembly line at the end of next year.
