A long family dinner based on discussions on a rooster-shaped napkin holder, the advantages of underfloor heating and the most classic clichés. This is the frame from which he starts The perfect speech, the film by Laurent Tirard based on the novel The speech by FabCaro arriving at the cinema on February 10, distributed by I Wonder Pictures and Unipol Biografilm Collection.
The perfect speech
Premiered at Cannes and at the Rome Film Fest, the film, a classic French comedy, revolves around the character of Adrien who, amid the unnerving din of dinner, he waits for Sonia to reply to her text message and put an end to the “break” she has granted him a month ago. But right now, Ludo, his future brother-in-law, asks him to make a “simple speech” for his wedding, causing Adrien to panic. What would happen, though, if that speech were precisely the best thing that could have happened to him to allow him to get back in the game? The cast is very rich, ranging from Sara Giraudeau a Kyan Khojandi, from Julia Piaton to Francois Morel, up to Guilaine Londez, ready to give shape and color to a comedy that promises laughter, but also an opportunity to reflect.
