The scariest roads you wouldn’t want to drive alone at night

Driving at night is scary enough on its own, but there are also some roads that drivers should avoid after dark. Ahead of Halloween, a Florida car dealership ranked the scariest roads in America, with a notorious New York street taking the top spot. The agency surveyed 3,000 drivers about the roads they avoid most when the sun goes down. The responses resulted in a list of the country’s 140 scariest roads, based not on the likelihood of an accident, but on the road’s connection to haunted stories, ghosts and other paranormal phenomena.
