Shocking video captured the moment a statue fell from a balcony and hit a 30-year-old woman on the head, fatally injuring her. Chiara Jaconis was casually walking down an alley in Naples, Italy, when a statue suddenly fell on her head. The 30-year-old was reportedly walking with her partner in one of Naples’ most famous areas, the Quartieri Spagnoli district, before heading to the airport to catch her flight home when she was struck by the statue. The unfortunate woman, originally from Padua, was taken to the hospital, where she breathed her last on Wednesday, September 18. The impact from the statue caused her brain injuries. According to Italian media, it is being investigated whether the statue was thrown by two children from the balcony of their home. Italian authorities arrested the parents of the two children and charged them with murder.
