The analytical agency “AUTOSTAT” analyzed the fleet of cars registered in Russia as of July 1, 2022. It turned out that only three models have more than 1 million, and the most common car among Russians is the VAZ 2107, of which there are 1 million 562 thousand copies.
The “seven” is followed by the “six” (VAZ 2106), the fleet of this model is 1 million 40 thousand units. In third place is Kia Rio (1 million 28 thousand). The Korean car only at the end of last year was able to overcome the millionth mark. The top ten includes six domestic cars that have already been discontinued. Only one model, the classic SUV LADA 4×4 Niva, has been re-released since 2021 under the name LADA Niva Legend.
