The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have begun to secure this coastal area of Gaza, the Israeli military said. “The repositioning of the jetty will allow the continued delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza in the coming days,” the statement added. The United States’ Joint Middle East Command (Centcom) announced yesterday that the temporary floating jetty built by the United States in the Gaza Strip for the transfer of humanitarian aid, which was damaged by a storm in late May, it was reposted after the appropriate repairs were made.
