The Ukrainian army announced that it had recaptured the village of Andriivka

Ukrainian troops they recaptured a village a short distance from the city controlled by Russian forces Bahamut, in the Donetsk region, in the eastern part of the country, the general staff announced. “In the course of offensive operations”, Ukrainian units “captured Andrivka in the Donetsk region,” the staff assured in its morning report.

According to the same source, great losses, both human and equipment, were achieved in Russian forces while fortifications were erected in some sectors. The village of Andrivka is located south of Bakhmut, where the heaviest fighting is believed to have taken place after its army of Russia invaded Ukrainian territory in February 2022.

The Ukrainian military also reported a “partially successful” raid by its troops on another village south of Bakhmut, Klystshiivka.
