They told him that his house “belonged to the poor”, so he painted it with beautiful colorful flowers

There are people who, because they have greater purchasing power than others, feel they have the right to offend, belittle and even humiliate others. Just like this woman who after a neighbor told her that her house was ugly, she responded in a way that makes her better than him.

Eurides Santos Silva, a 49-year-old woman who lives in the Jardim Aero Ranch neighborhood in Campo Grande, Brazil, told the local media in an interview Campo Grande News that she was recently the victim of discrimination by a neighbor who tried to humiliate her by telling her that her house “belonged to the poor,” because it was a humble and simple home. Far from getting angry, the woman let her imagination fly and looked for a way to add more details to her house and give it that unique touch that would identify with her personality.

They told me that my house was for the poor, an ugly house. After I was humiliated, I was very sad, I went into depression. I started painting so that the house wouldn’t look ugly.

With the help of recyclable materials and a little paint, he made ornaments to decorate the facade. In addition, he painted flowers on the walls from the outside to the inside of his house.

The decoration turned out to be an environmentally friendly initiative, as it took soda bottles, yogurts, cans and plastic trays and turned them into beautiful mobiles in the shape of butterflies, suns, stars and flowers that steal the attention of the people who they pass by on the street.

Last week a man stopped by, thought it was beautiful and asked for one. Since I had leftovers, I gave him one. I am not selling it, because it is very simple.

In addition to the objects that hang from the ceiling, he painted little flowers in the pots of his plants and the trash can that he has on the facade. Beyond the sentimental value, another quality that woman-made crafts have is that at night the cans shine and she loves the sound they make with the wind.

Eurides took two months to give that new touch to his home, as he is always looking for a way to make use of things that can be reused.

There is nothing original, it is only love and dedication.

For the woman it is more than just a house, it is the home that she shares with her husband Carlos and three of her four children, who motivate her to put that special touch that makes her feel proud of her home.

The woman used plaster to repair some walls and with colored paints she decorated the walls of the living room, kitchen and bedrooms with green, yellow, pink and red flowers in different shapes and styles, which welcome everyone who enters. his house.

I did it to be an example that everyone can do it. You can see something you like, try to do it and unleash your imagination. I feel better, it’s therapy.

Decorating her house is just beginning, as Eurides has many ideas for decorations that she plans to include, such as a curtain with the cassette tapes that her husband has. For now, the next step is to paint the outline of the flowers on the wall.

I was going to do it today, I want to paint here, because the colors have to match. All the decorations took on a special meaning for me; They may say it’s rubbish, but it has value to me.
