THE 36-year-old Miriam Ezagui and 35 year old Aron who are Orthodox Jews report that they started this practice, on the occasion of a tradition of their religion, as stated by nypost.com. Specifically, Mr religious law Niddah prohibits sexual intercourse both during menstruation and seven days after.

So first, the couple stopped sexual intercourse for two weekswhile then they decided to sleep in separate beds so they wouldn’t be “tempted”. However, they then found that every time they had sex, not only did they have more appetite, but they also enjoyed it more.

“During the Niddah, we cannot have physical contact in any way, therefore the problems we have can’t be solved with a kiss“, the 36-year-old characteristically said, adding that “you need to work on word problems at a deeper level and it’s definitely something that enriches the relationship.”

Also, the couple mentioned that the fact that they sleep in separate beds helps their daily schedule, since Miriam is a midwife and Aron a nurse who often works night shifts.

Since then, they report that their sex life has improved significantly, while in critical comments they receive, on the grounds that they started this practice because of religion, they state that “the way Judaism sees intercourse is positive for a couple. When you can be together, you should have a good time, whether it’s to have a child or just enjoy physical contact.”
