Neil Blomkamp is one of the talented directors who are not very lucky in their careers. His District 9 and Chappy the Robot are undoubtedly among the best science fiction films. However, not very good reviews from critics and weak box office in Hollywood play such an important role that talent is no longer being paid attention to. Therefore, without the support of major studios, Blomkamp began making short horror films. Some of them were better than today’s high-budget horror games. And now he had a chance to show himself in this genre in full meter. The film was filmed entirely in Canada during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.

“Man of God”
Serbian-American Elena Popovic spent 2020 in Greece to shoot the film Man of God. She acted as a director, screenwriter and producer of the picture. The tape is dedicated to the life of Nektarios of Aegins, one of the most revered saints in Greece. The world premiere of the film took place on April 25, 2021 as part of the main competition of the 43rd Moscow International Film Festival, where it received the Audience Award.
