O Apple TV+ released this Tuesday (9) the trailer for “The Time Bandits “The series is a remake of the 1981 film and will star Lisa Kudrow Phoebe from “Friends “.
The series tells the story of a group of thieves who shelter Kevin, an 11-year-old boy who is passionate about history. The group then sets out on a mission to save Kevin’s parents.
The team is led by Kudrow’s character Penelope.
The series is created by Jemaine Clement (“Flight of the Conchords”), Iain Morris (“The Inbetweeners”) and Taika Waititi (“Jojo Rabbit”).
“Time Bandits” arrives on Apple’s streaming service in July 24th with the first two episodes. After that, the episodes will be released in pairs weekly until August 21st.
In total, the first season of the series will have 10 episodes.
