From October 1st, non-custodial wallet Tonkeeper will add support payment of transaction fees in the TON network using Hamster Kombat (HMSTR).
This is possible thanks to the built-in Battery feature, which Tonkeeper Chief Strategy Officer Daniel Cowry says is a system “abstracted from the user interface that allows them to send transactions.”
The feature will be available after the network load has been reduced due to the HMSTR airdrop. Users of Tonkeeper, Wallet and a number of exchanges have encountered problems due to the active influx of distribution participants.
According to internal statistics, as of September 25, Tonkeeper has 34 million monthly active users, of which 8 million are active every day.
Let us recall that the airdrop and listing of the Hamster Kombat token took place on September 26. 131 million users are taking part in the distribution, among whom 75 billion coins will be distributed.
TON developers expect increased network load over the next three days.
