The first weekend of Rock in Rio 2022 moved social media. Between Friday (2) and the morning of this Monday (5), there were more than three million tweets about the festival, according to a survey carried out by twitter Brazil.
Amid the uncertainties of the singer’s presence that moved the networks, the Canadian Justin bieber topped the list of the most talked about artists on the platform during the festival.
Bieber took the stage at 11 pm and was the last to perform on Palco Mundo on Sunday (4).
Demi Lovato, who performed before the singer on the same stage, came in second. The former Disney star passed through São Paulo and Belo Horizonte before performing at Cidade do Rock.
Then the Brazilian Luisa Sonza won third place among the most talked about artists on Twitter during the first days of the festival. She paid tribute to the singer Marília Mendonça who died in a serious plane crash in November 2021.
Among the names that complete the list are: Post Malone, Iza, Iron Maden, Emicida and more.
