The segment brings together foreign direct and portfolio investments, profit remittances and interest payments, among other operations.
In foreign trade, the balance from 2021 to December 3 was positive at US$ 10.703 billion, with imports of US$ 197.870 billion and exports of US$ 208.573 billion.
Exports include US$ 26.819 billion in Advances on Exchange Contracts (ACC), US$ 49.793 billion in Advance Payment (PA) and US$ 131.961 billion in other entries.

The exchange flow registered last week (from November 29th to December 3rd) to Brazil was negative by US$ 903 million, informed the Central Bank.
The financial channel presented net outflows of US$ 1.040 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 14.337 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 15.378 billion.
In foreign trade, the balance of the week was positive by US$ 137 million, with imports of US$ 4.008 billion and exports of US$ 4.145 billion.
Exports include US$ 440 million in ACC, US$ 1.075 billion in Advance Payment and US$ 2.631 billion in other entries.
