Two police officers have been killed in attacks in northern Pakistan

Two police officers were killed today and six others were injured, including a young girl in attacks north of Pakistan, close to Afghanistan, as local Taliban insurgents agreed to a month-long truce after talks with the government, police said.

The policemen were killed by an improvised explosive device near the border of the province of Kimber-Punktunka, where they were developed in a reservoir.

“The two policemen were killed by an improvised explosive device at 10 a.m. (local time),” Abdul Samad Khan, a senior local police official in the Bajaur district, told Reuters.

THE another attack done on the outskirts of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, where A police officer was injured, as well as five civilians, including three women, along with a young girl.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police patrol in the area, according to Ali Raja, a senior police officer.
