Uganda: Islamic State claims responsibility for suicide bombing in Kampala

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a double suicide bombing in the Ugandan capital, Kabbalah, today, the Amaq jihadist group said in a statement, saying it was carried out by three suicide bombers.

At least three people were killed and 33 wounded earlier in the day in a double “suicide bombing” in Kabbalah carried out by an “ADF-affiliated local organization”, the Islamist Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), which operates in its neighboring People’s Republic. Congo, police said.

In a statement broadcast on the Telegram channel, the organization claimed that the first attack was aimed at the police headquarters and that the second took place near the Parliament building, which was to meet.
