Russia intends to deport about two million Ukrainians, while it has so far transferred 1.3 million, Ukrainian Parliamentary Human Rights Commissioner Ludmila Denisova said in a statement to the Telegram after her meeting with the Italian senator. and Valeria Valente, chairwoman of the parliamentary committee investigating crimes of feminicide and other forms of gender-based violence.
Denisova said she received the information from complaints from Ukrainian citizens displaced from the temporarily occupied territories, but also from released Ukrainian soldiers.
According to Denisova, through the hotline of the Commissioner for Human Rights, 42,000 Ukrainian citizens have reported crimes committed by Russia against 83,000 citizens, while in the last twenty-four hours alone 1025 have been committed.
For her part, Valente stressed that Italy is closely monitoring the crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine, including against women. He even assured Denisova of her support for her and the Ukrainian people in their efforts to identify and bring to justice Russians who have committed crimes.
