Ukraine: Woman accused of ‘high treason’ jailed for 14 years

A Ukrainian court today sentenced a woman to 14 years in prison on charges of “high treason” for writing a letter to Russia’s UN representative justifying the Russian invasion. “The resident of Kiev who wrote a letter to the Russian ambassador to the UN expressing her support for the (Russia’s special operation) was sentenced to 14 years in prison for high treason,” the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office said via Telegram.
