Ukrainian air defense and mobile drone detection teams shot down 9 of 13 Russian drones launched in four regions of the country, the Air Force announced today. The Iranian-made Shahed drones were shot down in the Poltava region of central Ukraine, in the southeastern regions of Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk, as well as in the Kharkiv region in the northeast, according to the statement. A Russian X-59 missile launched from Russia’s Kursk region was also shot down. The governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhii Lysak, said the overnight drone attack resulted in damage to commercial buildings and apartment buildings, as well as a power line.
