“The more I pray, the more haunting appears” is the plot that United States of Vila Isabel will take you to Marquês de Sapucaí in Carnival 2025 .
The news was announced this Wednesday (15) on the Rio club's social networks.
Developed by carnival artist Paulo Barros, the school will focus on hauntings that are part of the popular imagination, whether in childhood or in adult life.
“Time suspended. Terrified. Chill down your spine. Breath holding. The fear of the fantastic, of what torments us. The famous “I saw” or the familiar “they told me…”. The fact is that no one has ever stopped to talk to one… or have they?”, said the official profile of the blue and white girl.
Carnival 2024
This year, the school came in 6th place when presenting the plot “Gbala – Journey to the time of creation” .
The samba was written by Martinho da Vila, originally performed on the avenue in 1993, also in the Grupo Especial.
