Universal Parks & Resorts, the name behind the parks in Universal in Orlando is on Los Angeles announced last week the addition of another theme park to its portfolio.
This time, the project is specifically aimed at families with young children and will be built in Frisco, a city just 25 minutes north of Dallas at the texas .
According to a press release, Universal is working with a new park concept by bringing green landscapes together with immersive themed areas.
Interactive shows, meetings with characters, restaurants and exclusive products are part of the proposal, together with attractions focused on families.
THE kids-friendly park it is expected to occupy a 40-hectare portion of land Universal recently acquired in Frisco.
“The intent is that the entire area will have a completely different look, feel and scale to Universal’s existing parks and will attract a new audience to the brand,” the statement said.
Construction and launch dates for the park have yet to be announced.
