Just hours after the election of Cardinal, Robert Prevost, as the new Roman Catholic leader on Thursday, Vatican News published moving footage where the new Pontiff hugs the 133 members of the Cardinal College. The Pope’s gratitude gesture in the Sistina hats came just hours after being chosen by the Cardinals on the second day of Conclavium. The video shows Pope Leo ID to pray before the members of the College from the sanctuary of the historic Roman temple and then kneel in a private prayer on a prie-dieu.
