The successful implementation of the vaccination program in the EU was underlined by the President of the Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
The President of the European Commission stated that already 25% of European citizens have received at least the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
“Vaccination is accelerating across the EU: We have just surpassed 150 million vaccinations. “25% of European citizens have received the first dose of vaccination,” Ursula von der Leyen tweeted.
At the same time, with regard to the wall of immunity, the President of the Commission stated the following:
“We will have enough doses to vaccinate 70% of adult European citizens by July.”
