Amazon.com Inc is among the suitors for the health service provider Signify Health Inc, as reported yesterday by “The Wall Street Journal” citing sources who have received relevant information.
Signify Health is being sold in an auction that could raise its value to well over $8 million, according to the same newspaper.
Neither Amazon nor Signify responded to Reuters’ requests for comment yesterday.
Earlier in the month, the same newspaper reported that CVS Health Corp was interested in acquiring Signify as it sought to expand its offering of home health services.
The total economic value of Signify shares is recorded at about $4.97 billion based on its share price on Friday (Refinitiv).
