Why Alexis Tsipras will not proceed with a motion of censure now

Koumoundourou’s gaze is clearly focused on the parliamentary battle of the political leaders’ debate. Where, in the absence of Nikos Androulakis, the brawl will take place between the prime minister and the president of SYRIZA, with Alexis Tsipras certain to raise the decibels against Mr. Mitsotakis and his government.

With today’s data, however, no matter how much the leadership of Koumoundourou discussed the possibility of filing a motion of censure against the Government for the issue of wiretapping, it is not going to do so. For now at least and not before the puzzle of revelations in the history of surveillance is completed, as associates of Mr. Tsipras estimate that other “resounding” revelations will follow.

The reasoning behind the postponement of the impeachment motion, which has been discussed at length in SYRIZA, is that if it is tabled without the mosaic of revelations and all the parameters of the wiretapping case having been completed, they will have unnecessarily rallied the government camp and “burned” them to no avail. the “weapon” of the motion of censure for the next six months, since that is the time required until the official opposition is entitled to resubmit a corresponding motion.

Elections

It goes without saying that between the crimes of Alexis Tsipras towards the Prime Minister and his Government, the demand for “elections” will be heard again in the discussion of the leaders in the Parliament. Moreover, they are not discussing any other scenario in SYRIZA for political change, as reported by “K” in its previous paper.

However, the interlocutors of the SYRIZA president do not believe that Mr. Mitsotakis is planning to surprise with elections in the Autumn, in such a heavy climate for him guilty of surveillance and given that he has “burned” his political alliances (see N.
