Iran’s indirect talks with the United States on reviving the 2015 nuclear deal will resume soon, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian told a joint news conference with the EU foreign policy chief in Tehran, according to Reuters.
“We are ready to resume talks in the coming days. What is important for Iran is to fully reap the financial benefits of the 2015 agreement,” Amirabdolahian said, adding that he had a “long but positive meeting” with the foreign minister. European Union policy Josep Borrell.
“We are expected to resume talks in the coming days and get out of the impasse. Three months have passed and we need to speed up the work. I am very happy with the decision made in Tehran and Washington,” Borrell said.
