USA: Collision of two small planes at a California airport – Three dead

Two little ones aircraft clashed yesterday Thursday over its airport California of United States of Americathe authorities announced, speaking of three dead.

According to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), two people were in a Cessna 340 and a third in a Cessna 152 when they collided.

The two small aircraft “were involved in a collision as their pilots were on final approach to Watsonville Municipal Airport,” a small facility about 120 kilometers south of San Francisco, the FAA explained.

The city of Watsonville said on Twitter about the accident with “fatalities”, without providing further details.

The FAA assured that there were no injuries on the ground.

The accident will be investigated by the US Federal Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
