USA: New sanctions against Russia by the USA and their partners were announced by J. Sullivan

Biden is also expected to announce actions to boost energy security in Europe and reduce its dependence on Russia.

Joe Biden and US allies will impose new sanctions on Russia and tighten existing ones during the US President’s visit to Brussels, as announced today by National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

The US president is leaving tomorrow, Wednesday, for Brussels, where he will have contacts with NATO allies, G7 leaders and the European Union.

According to Sullivan, Biden will discuss with the allies more long-term adjustments in terms of the development of NATO forces.

The US president is also expected to announce actions to strengthen energy security in Europe and reduce its dependence on Russia’s oil and gas.
