The USA announced on Wednesday that they had added Russia in the “black list” of countries for which “particular concern” is expressed regarding the religious freedoms.

Instead, they removed her from the same list Nigeria, which the Foreign Minister is going to visit this week Anthony Blinken, as broadcast by ΑΠΕ ΜΠΕ.

According to the State Department, the other countries that “committed or tolerated blatant, systematic and persistent violations of religious freedom” are the same as in 2020: Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, China, North Korea, Eritrea, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

THE Algeria, the Comoros, the Cuba and the Nicaragua are on the interim list of “monitored” countries.

“In many parts of the world, we continue to see governments harassing, arresting, threatening, imprisoning and killing people simply because they want to live their lives according to their faith“, Stressed Blinken.
