USA: Shots fired at a mall in Idaho

Another bloody incident was recorded, on Monday (25/10), at USA. Two people were killed and four others were injured, including a police officer, during a shooting at a shopping mall in Boizi of Idaho.

The Chief of Police, Ryan Lee, in a press conference stated that his police officers Boizi responded to reports of shootings in the mall «Boise Town Square» around 1:50 p.m. (local time). When they arrived at the scene, the police located a person who matched the description of a suspect and exchanged fire, resulting in the injury of a police officer.

According to the police chief, the suspect was taken into custody, while the authorities believe that he acted alone and now “there is no threat or danger to the wider community from this incident”.

Police did not release the names of the victims or the injured, nor the suspect.

In fact, according to a relevant publication USA Today, local police took testimonies from dozens of people outside his entrance «Macy’s», one of the five large department stores in the two-story mall Boise Town Square, which has a total of 153 companies.

His governor Idaho, Brad Little, reported in Twitter that his prayers are with those injured in the shooting at the mall and that the state is ready to assist Boise police in investigating the incident and thank the citizens for the police response to the incident.
