The detailed record of their anti-American action Gray Wolves but also the possibility of their inclusion in the list of foreign terrorist organizations provides for a new amendment introduced in the defense budget of the USA.
This amendment was tabled by the Democratic Nevada MP Dina Taitus and essentially asks the Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken to submit to the competent committees of the Congress a report on the Gray Wolves within 180 days from the signing of the defense budget, according to the RES EIA.
In particular, Dina Taitus’ amendment provides:
- The preparation of a detailed report on the activities of the Gray Wolves that oppose the interests of the United States, its allies and its international partners.
- Examining whether the Gray Wolves meet the criteria to be included in the State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations.
- Provide a detailed explanation of which criteria of the relevant law (Article 219 of the Law on Immigration and Citizenship) are not met for the inclusion of Gray Wolves in the list of foreign terrorist organizations. This justification should be included in the report only if the Foreign Minister considers that the Gray Wolves do not meet the relevant criteria.
