USA: The gunman who tried to break into the FBI offices in Ohio had issued a ‘call to arms’

The gunman who was killed by law enforcement after he tried to storm the FBI offices in Ohio had posted a “call to arms” on Donald Trump’s social media account, Truth Social, US media reported today .

Several US media outlets published screenshots of the account in the name of the suspect, whom police have identified as Ricky Schiefer, 42, which read “This is a call to arms.”

The account has since been pulled by Truth Social.

“I propose war,” adds gunman, calling for “patriots” to go to Florida and kill FBI agents, day after former President Donald Trump’s home was raided, an unprecedented raid that is causing outrage in the Republican camp .

The attacker confesses that he tried to force his way into the FBI offices in Cincinnati. “I thought I could break the armored windows and I couldn’t,” he explains. “If you haven’t heard from me, it’s true that I tried to attack the FBI and that will mean I’ve been banned from the internet, caught by the FBI, or sent to the police…” he wrote in the message posted Thursday morning, according to with the media.

The FBI announced that a gunman had attempted to break into its offices in Cincinnati, Ohio, early Thursday morning.

According to local media, the man, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, used a handgun and was holding an AR-15-style semi-automatic weapon before fleeing in a car.

After a chase, the man fled into a corn field where he was surrounded by law enforcement. When they tried to arrest him, he pointed his gun at the officers, who opened fire and fatally wounded him.
