The American armed forces announced in the early hours of Tuesday (19/9) that Wreckage of F-35 fighter jet found, a day after they appealed to the public to help find it.
The pilot of the F-35B Lightning II had managed to leave the fighter jet before it crashed, using the ejection mechanism.
The wreckage of the advanced fighter jet, which cost about $80 million, was located in Williamsburg County, South Carolina.
The F-35 is distinguished by its stealth technology that makes it extremely difficult to be detected by enemy radars, while it has the latest generation of equipment.
