The days of Valentina Pegorer they are marked by a specific time: four in the afternoon. Before then, Valentina has the opportunity to devote herself to the work and career of an actress that she is building brick after brick, while at her X hour, her attentions are all focused on Mina, the daughter she had with her partner Boss Doms, with which he “has a lot of fun” until evening. “I live a fairly scheduled life: by four o’clock I have to unmark work things because then, when Mina gets home, she is not happy to see me at work on the computer”, Valentina says on the phone from her apartment in Milan, happy to have finally satisfied that I dream of acting that she has been secretly sharing for a long time.

The sex of angels, the film by Leonardo Pieraccioni that sees her in the role of Alessia, one of the girls of the closed house in Switzerland that Pieraccioni inherits from the reckless uncle played by Massimo Ceccherini, is in fact the first project that sees Valentina Pegorer grappling with a world – that of acting – which she is studying with each passing day hoping to become better and better and more and more credible. Although her patience is not her strong point, Pegorer looks around, participates in the auditions and projects herself towards the future with optimism and positivity. The same ones she always had as a child, when she acted in advertisements for toys and ice cream.
Thrilled that Mina could see her in the cinema in the next few years?
«When she sees her dad on television she is very excited, even if she often mistakes Edo for Lauro and Lauro for Edo. I have to wait another year to take it to the cinema: the ideal would be to give the voice to a cartoon ».
Instead, for now, he has lent his face to Alessia: how was this debut in the cinema?
“I tried to color her by comparing myself with an older friend who has worked in the sex industry for years in the past. When you work with women, you always expect some rivalry and bickering, but in this round with the other colleagues we had a great time and we created a beautiful friendship ».
Have you ever had a rivalry or squabble with women in the workplace in the past?
“I have more male friends than female friends. It is as if with them I felt freer to be myself and did not feel judged ».
In the film, Alessia hides the secret of her work from her husband: is it right in a couple to have some secrets?
“If we’re not talking about betrayal or anything like that, I think it’s healthy to have a privacy of your own that goes beyond the couple. Then, of course, each of us is different ».
I saw that on YouTube he uploaded some videos of his acting monologues.
“I didn’t remember they were public! For years I have been under a manager that I have known since, as a child, I was advertising. Growing up we lost sight of each other but, when I was 23, she contacted me telling me that we needed a girl for a Rai TV series who had to cut herself off and that she thought I was crazy enough to pack. I would have liked it but, given my commitment to Occupydeejay, I couldn’t change my image, so I gave up. She always pushed for me to study acting, but it was never my time. There is a time for everything and now, after the film, I’m loaded up and I’m doing courses on Milan and Rome ».
