A video showing a dog “asking for help” from police officers from the Vehicle Theft and Theft Police Station (DFRV) in Curitiba went viral on social media.
In the images, the dog signals to agents that her five puppies were inside a cardboard box.

According to Adriano Giese, one of the police officers involved in the rescue, the team was carrying out an approach when they noticed the dog’s behavior.
She was kind of asking for help, she ran around the police officers and signaled that there were puppies there.

The story had a positive outcome: all the puppies were adopted, and the police station team decided to adopt the dog, who was named Filó.
According to the Civil Police, mother and puppies were abandoned in the Tatuquara neighborhood, in Curitiba, on November 13th.
