Video: dog is saved with “perfect loop” during flood in RS

A dog was saved by a police officer from the Military Brigade amid the floods in Rio Grande do Sul. The video was shared this Sunday (12), by the State Military Brigade and had repercussions on social media.

In the images, it is possible to see that before the police officer arrived, the dog was fighting against the current. The video shows the moment when the agent, on board a boat, observes the dog in danger and acts quickly with precision. The agent then decides to throw the rope and captures the animal with a well-aimed loop.

Next, it is possible to see that, using the same noose, the police officer pulls the dog onto the boat, providing him with safety. After removing the animal from the water, the brigadier removed the noose from the animal's neck.

According to the latest report from the Civil Defense of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, this Monday (13), 10,814 animals were rescued from the floods that hit the state two weeks ago.
