Pressured by public opinion and sponsors, La Liga, the entity that organizes the Spanish Championship, asked for an increase in powers so that it can be more effective in punishing cases of racism and other situations of intolerance, such as those that the Brazilian Vinícius Júnior has been a victim.
For this, the organization will ask for an amendment to the Spanish legislation against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport, from 2007.
