Ethereum founder Vitaly Dmitrievich Buterin, better known as Vitalik Buterin, said he loves Dogecoin (DOGE) and proposed a collaboration between Dogecoin and Ethereum for scalability.
In a recent podcast by Lex Fridman, Buterin said that he is definitely not afraid of Dogecoin and actually loves cryptocurrency, while he has investments in Dogecoin. Buterin believes that the main scalability problem for Dogecoin is that simply increasing the parameters without any additional steps makes it harder to validate the chain. He noted that blockchain is likely to become centralized and vulnerable to all kinds of capture.
If Doge wants to somehow connect to Ethereum so that people can trade Doge thousands of times per second within a loop, that would be great. If they just want to take advantage of zkRollup-style technology and have thousands of transactions per second on their own chain, that would be a great result too.

Buterin also said that having a secure bridge between Doge and Ethereum would be awesome. He added that the technology to enable such interoperability is still in its infancy.
