The social network VKontakte continues a large-scale redesign of the service; after a major redesign of the feed in July, the developers introduced a completely new look for the user profile – however, it very much resembles the implementation in the main competitor in the social network market.
The unexpanded profile design now displays only key data: basic information (description), place of work and city of residence. If desired, the user has the right to add mini-applications with additional services. For example, a graphic designer can attach a utility for quickly ordering mugs with their own design.

Another key innovation is the appearance of profile covers (background images over which the user’s avatar and card are displayed). Apparently, you can’t add cover videos on personal accounts.
