The Wall Street Journal reports in its report that the USA lobbying its Chinese owners TikTok and threaten to ban their app unless they sell their share.

According to her American publication wsj.comthe operator of the Chinese app ByteDance is accused of leaking personal data to the Chinese state.

Thus, the US government is requesting that other private individuals – if not Westerners – buy a share, to ensure that no leakage can be made or there will be, since it can be easily detected in this case,

TikTok has therefore tried to reassure the US with a transparency initiative, according to which the data will be stored on servers in the US or Europe

THE Wang Wenbina spokesman for China’s foreign ministry, said that Washington “so far has not presented evidence that TikTok threatens US national security” and that “the US should stop spreading false information about data security issues, stop unjustified attacks and to offer an open, fair, impartial and non-discriminatory trading environment to foreign companies”.
