One of the closest allies of Vladimir Putin, the former president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev declared today that his country will achieve its goals in war in Ukraine on her own terms. Alongside, warned that the West has a long-term plan to destroy Russia.
“THE Russia conducts a special military operation in Ukraine and wins peace on its terms,” Dmitry Medvedev, who is currently deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, told the TASS news agency in an interview.
Medvedev characterized the 2008 war in Georgia, NATO expansion and the war in Ukraine as part of the effort by the US and its allies to destroy Russia.
“The goal is the same: to destroy Russia,” Medvedev said, according to the Athens News Agency.
