Russian shelling hit many locations in the south and east Ukrainekilling at least one person in Nikolaev and destroying a school in Kharkiv, Ukrainian authorities said.
During the night from Friday to Saturday, one civilian killed and six others injured in the shelling of a residential area of Nikolaev (south), where many buildings were damagedregional governor Vitaly Kim announced today on Telegram.
In Kharkiv, three S-300 missiles fell at 3 a.m. on a school which caught fire, announced the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov.

The main building was destroyed, according to the mayor who released photos of the burning building on Telegram. No information on possible victims was immediately available.
According to the governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov, at least five S-300 missiles were fired towards the city of Kharkiv overnight Friday through Saturday.
In the Donetsk region, the focus of the Russian offensive in the east, a bus station and nearby buildings were damaged by strikes in Sloviasnk, according to regional governor Pavlo Kirilenko. In Shiversk, a social service center was damaged without causing any casualties.
The shelling also hit the locations of Nikopol and Chervonogrigorivka in the Dnipro region (central-east) without causing casualties, according to the initial briefing by the Ukrainian presidency.
As part of the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Kherson region, which has been largely occupied by Russian forces since the beginning of the war, “Ukrainian armed forces carried out targeted strikes on warehouses and positions of Russian military personnel in Chornobayvka, Nova Khakbova, Brilivka as well as around from Berislav and Kakhovka”, the presidency points out without giving further details.
