Russian forces have destroyed a large quantity of weapons sent by the West to Ukraine, in the Zhytomyr region, west of Kiev, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.
“High-precision and long-range caliber missiles fired from the sea destroyed a large consignment of weapons and military equipment delivered by the United States and European countries near the Malin railway station in the Zhytomyr region,” the report said.
According to the ministry, these weapons were intended for the Ukrainian military forces in the Donbas region, in the east, where the clashes are concentrated.
