War in Ukraine: Ten civilians killed and 46 wounded in Russian bombing of Mykolaif

Ten people were killed and at least 46 were injured in the bombings Mikolajifin its southern part Of Ukraineannounced today (5/4) the mayor Oleksandr Senkevich.

“So, in total, 10 people were killed by these bombings and 46 were injured.”added the mayor of Mykolayev, claiming that the Russian army used cluster munitions.

Yesterday Sunday (3/4), eight people were killed and another 34 were injured in attacks by of the Russian army in Nikolaev and Otsakhev, a smaller town 60 kilometers southwest, according to the Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Office.

Nikolaev, which had a population of about 475,000 before the war, is one of the cities hard-pressed by Russian troops as they try to occupy Odessa, Ukraine’s largest port. The Russian blockade has seemed to loosen in recent days.

Otsakhev, a city of 15,000 on the Black Sea coast, was one of the first targets of the Russian invasion that began on February 24.
