We are pleased to announce our partnership with Geely, the world’s leading automobile manufacturer. Waymo is integrating our Waymo Driver into a version of the new all-electric mobility-oriented Zeekr vehicle developed in Sweden specifically for autonomous driving. We are committed to expanding access to sustainable transportation, and the rollout of these fully autonomous EVs is an important step as we electrify our Waymo One fleet.

In the coming years, the company will integrate the Waymo Driver Appliance into the Zeekr, a vehicle-as-a-service-optimized vehicle that focuses on driver comfort, convenience and preference. This driver-centered vehicle features a flat floor for easier entry and exit thanks to its B-pillar-less design. It also got plenty of headroom and fully adjustable seats.

Our Waymo One drivers will soon experience a steering wheel and pedal free interior, with plenty of headroom, legroom and reclining seats, screens and chargers within arm’s reach.
